This week as been relatively boring, so this post no doubt won't be too exciting! I seem to have found where all the tall men have been hiding and it's quite nice to see a few have been messaging me! Result. so my perseverance for my tall dark and handsome man might be paying off. just excruciatingly slowly! I have found the tall men after around 4 weeks of this little adventure, now for the handsome and the dark featured assets to follow!- Who knows i might have a date by the time i'm 30!
But in all seriousness i've seen a little bit of a pattern with these men on the website, you chat for a bit, they ask for your number so you txt for a bit and to be honest unless you're going to see each other pretty quickly after that the conversation seems to dwindle into utter rubbish and there really is only so many times you can ask about what they have planned for the week. So that's a bit relentless and you find yourself starting this same old thing with someone else!
I also think these men must be criminals if they don't have facebook...
I mean, who doesn't have facebook between the ages of 21-26 unless they have no friends, have been convicted or are just the creepy sort i have mentioned before. This is an amazing little spy tool to see what these men look like in more than one posey photo! It seems like a safe bet that if they have lots of wall posts, pictures and messages from friends then they are not going to hold me hostage on our date. Facebook is key!
This is of course, until you see their newly added friends list just sitting there on their profile page- 'so and so has recently added 10 friends' a cheeky peak will let you see that these are all women, looking suspiciously similar to oneself ranging between a few years in age and you just know you are one of many this gent has messaged.
So i suppose that has what has got me this week, you forget when someone txts you or shows a little more interest than others that he is probably got his fingers in many different pies, and so really all flattery has gone. I know i sound like a hypocrite as essentially this is how everyone, including me, is playing the game but it is a simple reminder that you are up against everyone else on this website! It's competition time and time to get the claws out!
On a brighter note- After watching This Means War last night and seeing that in the movie even Tom Hardy, yes that beautiful man, went online dating and found Reese Witherspoon, it has proven that it isn't just for weirdos and you can meet some gorgeous people :D (I'm trying to convince myself...ha!) And that i will find my hunk of a Hardy.
